About Us
In 2016, four retired guys decided they should venture into wildfire support for Cal Fire and the US Forest Service (Part of the US Department of Agriculture). The next morning Grizzly Incident Support LLC, was born at a restaurant table on a paper napkin. We started by providing Geographic Information Services (mapping). Recently, we added a Media Platform designed to live broadcast briefings and community meetings to the public, specifically evacuees who want to know fire activity in real time. In 2024, three foot paper maps stapled to plywood gave way to our 8 foot high by 12 foot wide LED Video Wall. The briefing map can now be seen by everyone in crystal clear vivid color.
